IsoTrek was started by two outdoor and environment enthusiasts with extensive backpacking experience. Jim and John are both members of the Sierra Club and have hiked most of the mountain in the western US. They have more than 54 years of combined backpacking experience where they have seen the industry evolve and mature. Throughout the years they have also seen the equipment evolve and more suppliers enter the market making the choice in equipment confusing and difficult..  Their goal is to share with you their experience in backpacking by offering the best equipment for backpackers. All equipment is evaluated on functionally, eases of use, weight and practicality. They offer a variety of equipment to support the type of backpacking you do from weekend trips to week long treks.
